BOND 23 TO BE CALLED SKYFALL Barbara Brocolli along with Daniel Craig have announced that the next Bond (23) will be called SkyFall as rumours have suggested. Javier Bardem has been confirmed as the villain along with Ralph Fiennes and Albert Finnet. Dame Judi Dench will return as M and Sam Mendes is to direct. Denying rumours that there will be less action Mendes has confirmed it is chock full of action like any other Bond. Some scenes will be filmed in the coming days. The story takes place in London, as well as Scotland China and Turkey. |

The next Bond film Quantum of Solace seems to be back on track for a November release. The dates have been going back and forward but it looks like 7th November is back in the frame. Also it will now be a Royal Premiere as the Princes William and Harry have requested to attend. The proceeds of the premiere will go to charity as is normal. The charity will be nominated by the Princes. Many Bond films have been Royal Premieres. Must be something about the subject matter perhaps? One things for sure they certainly seem to enjoy them! The film once again stars Daniel Craig as Bond. It opens with a car chase in Northern Italy. As you can see from the report above, the scenes caused a degree of difficulty for the film crew.

ITALY
A stunt driver lost control of the James Bond Aston Martin while driving it to location in Italy. He crashed the car along a narrow road on Lake Garda (the largest lake in Northern Italy) in a rain storm. He was rescued and the car whinched out of the lake. This is apparently the only Aston Martin available for the film. Location shooting has already taken place in England and Chile. Quantum of Solace, the second outing for Daniel Craig, is due out on 31st October and picks up the story only hours after the end of Casino Royale.
Filming has not been smooth this time around as there were problems in Chile due to riots in that part of the world and now as the crew locate in Italy on Lake Garda to conclude most of location filming they have had two crashes. The special Aston Martin (see new report above) was written off in an accident into the Lake and now an Alfa Romeo has crashed sending the driver to hospital. Both cars driven by stunt men.
RACHEL WEISZ AND DANIEL CRAIG MARRY
This may not exactly be Bond news although the 23rd Bond is in pre-production but after secretly dating since December 2010 Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig have married in New York with just Craig's daughter Ella and Weisz's son Henry in attendance and two close friends. They became close on the set of Dream House their latest film. It tells of a couple who discover their seemingly idyllic house was the scene of a brutal murder. Needless to say it is a horror film!
